SEPA Teaching Engagement in Naco, AZ

On June 6, 2023, researchers and students from the Ramirez Lab traveled to Naco, AZ to teach science to students at Naco Elementary School. A total of 55 students were engaged in various science lessons, including learning about the scientific method, the way plants and pollinators interact, as well as how plants uptake nutrients through their roots into their stems and leaves.
